I like to think of music as a time machine. We can warm our hearts in the glow of nostalgia or dream of the future.
“The mystery of love” is influenced by my love of vintage 1960’s soul music.
Steve Eggers (The Nines) contributes dreamy back up vocals, conjuring up neon jukebox atmospheres of yesteryear.
At the climax, keyboard wizard Rob Preuss transforms the song into a psychedelic, postmodern extravaganza.
